This is my original image for the front cover of my vintage music magazine. This is how the image was taken, the crease in the background is very eye catching on the background, for the actual background i am going to edit the crease out to create a smooth background so the main focus is the photograph.

In this image you can see the dress being coloured in to change the colour, this will create a colour pop. I have changed the colour of the dress as i feel the blue makes the cover look less female because of the colour.

This is a screengrab of the finished colour pop on the flower. The brightness of the flower is contrasting against the black and white of the face and hair on the photograph. This colour is very eye catching and will attract the readers attention. |

.This image is a screengrab that is showing how i created the colour pop. It is showing the layer mask that i used to keep the black images and the colour images separate whilst i worked on the rest. |

This is the finished result of the colour pop i created. |
After creating the colour pop i am really happy with the finished result. I feel the image really suits the genre of vintage since i am creating vintage with a modern theme.
Well done, Amy! Mrs B
